All teams need to enter the names and numbers of their players in the book before each game. Please be sure to put your team name and age group at the top of the page. If you are short players, you are allowed to ask players from a younger age division to play but you cannot ask players from other teams in the same age division.
If one team only has four players then the teams play four against four. If a player fouls out on a team with only five or four players then that player stays in the game with the opposing team being granted a two shot technical foul and the ball for the 6th foul and every ensuing foul thereafter. The same penalty will be assessed if any other player incurs a 6th personal foul.
For the playoffs, at the beginning of the game, if one team has 4 players and another team has 5 or more, 5 vs. 4 is to be played. However, the rule above takes over if a team with 5 players has 1 player foul out and there are no subs, he will be allowed to remain in the game but a technical foul will be issued on the 6th foul and every ensuing foul thereafter.
Refs have been instructed to eject any coach, player, or parent, at the onset of outlandish behavior and if a coach receives two technicals he will have to vacate the building. Anyone using abusive language will not be tolerated, and will be removed from the premises. We ask that the coaches, players and officials treat each other with respect and demonstrate sportsmanlike conduct before, during and after all games. |
