12/02/10 - 1st and 2nd graders play at 6pm and 3rd & 4th graders play at 7:15pm.

Junior Walker League games

For boys and girls in grades 1,2,3 & 4

Will be on Thursdays from 6pm to 7:30

Renegades Basketball is proud to announce the formation of a junior instructional league to our John Walker Fall League this year.  This junior league will be co-ed and will have two divisions:  1st & 2nd Grade girls and boys and 3rd & 4th grade girls  and boys.  Please state what grade your child is entering in fall 2010 on registration form.

The registration form allows for each player to request to play with a few of their friends. All teams will play eight games and at least one playoff game. The playoffs should be over by the 4^th week of November. Every player must play at least 40% of the game. The instructional Fall League will begin the week of 9-27-10. (Note: Baskets will be lowered to 8ft. and there will be 20 minutes of instruction before each game.)  

Games will be scheduled on either Tuesday or Thursday nights. We hope that Tuesday and Thursday evenings will work best for this age group due to community and school activities currently held on Wednesdays and weekends.  Please advise on your registration form if either Tuesday or Thursday evenings is a conflict. 

You must check our website (www.renegadesbasketball.com) on September 26^th to find out when your first game will be. (Rosters and schedules will be posted by this date) We will not be able to telephone.

·         All games will be played at our facility:  Kelly Bolish Gym, 2950 Turnpike Dr., Hatboro, PA 19040.

·         The cost of registration for 2010 will be $100.00.due by the deadline of September 24^th, 2010

·         Full Team registration for these age groups will be permitted.

·         The cost of registration for a team entering this league will be $900.00

Any Renegades player wishing to participate in the Fall League must re-register with the club for the upcoming year (2010/2011) at this time by mailing in club registration form and fee. Non-Renegade players do not have to pay a club registration fee. .

·         Please make checks payable to Renegades and mail to 858 Street Rd., Southampton, PA 18966.

o     Please do not send a check without a Walker League form. You may use the registration form enclosed or print one off the   website: www.renegadesbasketball.com.

o    It is very important to fill in your child’s height and basketball experience on registration form. We must have this info in order to facilitate placement of your child on a team. We try to make the level of all of the teams as even as possible so that the games are competitive.

·         Any player who does not play AAU basketball or plays AAU basketball with another club must register online at aausports.org.  and purchase aau insurance card at a cost of $14.00

·         When you register online, you must check off AB (added benefit) and you will be covered under the AAU supplemental insurance from 8/31/10 to 8/30/11. This insurance covers the player not only for basketball but also for any sport that the player participates in during the entire year and is well worth the $14.00. This AAU insurance does not take the place of family health care coverage. Every Walker League player must have his or her own health care insurance. All Non-Renegades players must present their AAU insurance membership card prior to playing in their first league game. This will be strictly enforced due to the liability issues.
